Fundraising

Aluminum Cans - Make a contest to see who can collect the most to return to a recycling center. This can be done within the club or if a local school will help out, then the students can provide the school with recycling bins, and collect them once a month.
Bake Sale - Always a good fundraiser and can be a great family event. These are normally most successful around holiday seasons.
Car Wash - Shopping centers or gas stations usually will provide a place for this great money maker. Sell tickets in advance around the school and community, and promote with many flyers and bulletins.
Donate to PTA - Help Parent Teacher Associations by donating time for a minimal cost with projects, fundraising, and babysitting.
Halloween Party - Sponsor a community Halloween Party for kids at a local center. Make it fun but safe event.
Lock-in - Have an overnight at a local YMCA or community building (bowling alley, church, gym, ..etc). Watch movies, play, have fun! This event takes a lot of planning and adult support, so be organized.
Movie Parties - Aquire recent, full-length movies for showing at the local high school or community center. Charge prices for admission and arrange the setting for the showering, either a standard autidorium or a more informal venue.
Fun Breakfast - A pancake or sausage/egg breakfast can be a high profit fundraiser. It can also be fun, easy,to organize, and an excellent team building project.
